A local hangout for anyone who loves to play.

Geek World is a neighborhood game store in Tyler, Texas — built around a simple idea: give people a friendly place to play, learn and stock up, without pressure.

Our story

You'll find Geek World tucked into the Green Acres shopping center on Troup Highway, right between Fuzzy Taco and Boards and Bites Board Game Cafe. It's a small stretch of Tyler that's become a bit of a hub for people who like to game.

The shop grew a reputation the old-fashioned way: stocking what players actually want, keeping tables open for anyone who wants to sit down and play, and hiring staff who are genuinely into the hobby rather than just ringing up sales.

What we're about

Whether you're cracking open your first box of Pokémon cards, building a Warhammer army, starting a Dungeons & Dragons campaign, or just hunting for the perfect set of dice, the goal is the same — make it easy to find what you need and easy to find people to play it with.
